These artistic workshops are created in collaboration with schools and organizations and they represent a multi-disciplinary research effort. Students are encouraged to read actively and participate in story telling through the arts as a learning and cathartic method of healing. Storytelling is a powerful tool for constructing meaning and making sense of human events. Stories generate empathy and promote altruism.

STOP MOTION WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION
Join us for a special hands-on stop-motion animation workshops for kids! Students will learn basic principles of stop-motion animation with a focus on printed materials, watch short films with a variety of stop-motion techniques
and then create their own content for short films.

Join our virtual workshop to learn how to teach art digitally to kids and make it just as interactive as in person classrooms. Educators will learn how to teach their students virtually using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Discord.

WORKSHOP 3
CLAYMATION WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION
Join our awesome 3 day workshop and make an amazing short animated film in just 3 days. Working in groups, participants write scripts, create plasticine characters, sets, and props, animate their movies frame by frame and even record voices. We have a strong emphasis on creative freedom and fun!
